3-Sentence Synopsis: in 1933 Nel Stone and her husband Fen meet up with fellow anthropologist Andrew Bankson in New Guinea. They are studying South Pacific Tribes when a love triangle forms. By getting involved in tribe affairs, the three of them risk their lives, careers, and relationships.

Review: This book was not for me. I was in a rush to pick a book. I saw this one won an award so thought that automatically meant I would enjoy it. I was wrong. While there were some ok parts, this topic was not interesting to me. If you are intrigued by anthropology than this book may be your cup of tea.
